Now What?

You now have the ability to submit and review tickets via the SamurAI Portal.

With a subscription to the Managed Detection & Response service:

Setup

With access to the SamurAI Portal, you can begin Setup. The data sources we gather telemetry data from may require configuration, download and deployment of a local collector(s) - this is typically for data sources deployed within your network. For cloud based products or services, a cloud collector is typically used which is native to the SamurAI platform and visible in the application..

  • Collector(s)

Please review SamurAI Collectors to understand and determine what type of collectors you require.

If you already know you require a local collector, jump directly to SamurAI Local Collector for steps to configure, download and deploy a local Collector.

  • Integrations

Once you have worked through your collector requirements you can then move to integrations. Review Integrations Overview for more information and then select Integrations for steps to integrate your products with the SamurAI platform.

If you have any questions please submit a ticket in the SamurAI Portal

2 - Install the SamurAI Portal as an App (PWA)

The SamurAI Portal can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on supported mobile and desktop browsers. Once installed, it opens in an app-style window and can send push notifications for enabled portal events when your browser, operating system, and SamurAI notification settings allow it.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a secure web application that can be installed on your device and launched like an app. Depending on your browser and operating system, a PWA can appear on your home screen, desktop, or dock and can support notifications.

Why install the SamurAI Portal?

Installing the SamurAI Portal as a PWA gives you quicker access and a cleaner experience without needing an app store.

  • Faster access from your home screen, desktop, or dock

  • Browser and version
  • Whether the portal is installed as an app

You can then raise a ticket in the SamurAI Portal.

Notes and limitations

  • Push notifications depend on browser support, operating system support, user permissions, and your SamurAI notification settings
  • Installation steps and install prompts can vary slightly by browser and platform
  • Corporate browser policies, device management policies, or security settings may block installation or notifications
  • If your organization restricts browser notifications, contact your IT administrator
  • An internet connection is required to use the SamurAI Portal
