This integration collects detection data from ESET PROTECT Cloud using the ESET Connect REST API. The SamurAI platform authenticates with your ESET instance via a dedicated API user account and polls for events on a scheduled basis.

To complete this Integration you will need to:

1) Within ESET PROTECT Cloud:

2) From the SamurAI Portal:

Create a dedicated API user account

For additional information you can refer to the ESET Connect – Create API user account documentation.

To create a dedicated API user follow the steps below:

  1. Log in as a Superuser (or Root) to your ESET Account

  2. Navigate to User management and create a new user

  3. Under Access rights apply Read to Company Access and ESET Protect & ESET Inspect access

  4. Under the Access Rights section, enable the toggle next to Integrations

  5. Click Create to apply the changes

  6. The new user receives an invitation email — the user must complete the account creation process before the API can be used.

Identify your cloud region

ESET PROTECT Cloud is hosted across multiple regions. You must identify your region so the SamurAI platform connects to the correct API endpoints.

Your region can be identified from the URL of your ESET PROTECT Web Console. The prefix before the first dot (for example, eu01, us02) indicates your region.

Example are outlined below, you will need to specify it during Complete the ESET PROTECT Cloud Integration.
